Isaiah 40: 1-11

Main Idea: Don’t let your inability to comprehend the ways of God in the earth obstruct from your sight His sovereignty and eternal faithfulness.

1. The Comfort of God: God will have his way in the earth.
a. He calls his people to repentance and faith.
b. He assures that his Word prevails.

2. The Greatness of God: God alone is sovereign.
a. See the measure of His might.
b. See the reach of His rule.

3. The Faithfulness of God: He is the Everlasting God
a. The Lord is the Everlasting God.
b. He strengthens his people.
