Main Idea: Will God’s People be assaulted by the voices of the enemy of God, or will we be strengthened by the Word of the Lord who prevails for his glory?
1. The drumbeat of the enemy: Your God is not reliable and will not be tolerated!
- A Historical Attack
- A Contemporary Attack
2. Our sure hope: Help comes from the Lord and his Word!
- Go to God!
- See again the Lord’s truth.
3. The Lord’s sovereignty: The glory of God will prevail.
a. Our God is God Most High.
b. The attack is upon the people of God, but the enemy is the Lord himself.
c. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
